Clinically validated with a user-friendly technology experience

In your personal life you have come to expect high-tech wearables, easy-to-use apps, seamless connectivity, on-demand information and a sleek, yet simple design. But many of the advanced medical devices you use for your sickest patients are still clunky and difficult to operate. Why shouldn’t life-saving technology also provide you with the same modern and high-quality experience?

VitalStream® is the world’s only FDA-cleared wireless, wearable continuous cardiac output (CCO) and blood pressure monitor (NIBP). It merges intuitive, user-friendly technology, with the clinical accuracy you need from an acute-care hemodynamic monitor.

VitalStream offers:

  • A comfortable, low-pressure finger sensor
  • A mobile, wire-free experience
  • Quick and easy set up
  • Clinically-validated accuracy on challenging patient populations

This is more detail than current practice and can be used to guide better postoperative management. It gives you a good trend.” ~ Zain Khalpey, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Director of Artificial Heart, MCS & ECMO, Chief Medical AI Officer (Network Director) at Honor Health

There’s an app for that: The Caretaker app

Continuous vital signs data and live waveforms are displayed on a tablet via the Caretaker app. The tablet application provides you with a familiar and modern experience that can be quickly learned with minimal instruction. If you know how to use your smartphone, you know how to use VitalStream.

  • An easy-to-use app on an android operating system
  • An intuitive touchscreen user interface
  • Continuous, near real-time vital signs
  • Bluetooth or wifi pairing to the wearable hub
  • Seamless integration with existing monitoring systems

Patented Pulse Decomposition Analysis (PDA)

Patented PDA technology and artificial intelligence algorithms derive continuous hemodynamic parameters by analyzing reflective pulsewave morphology within the arterial tree.

PDA is a physiological model that:

  • Analyzes the pulse pressure waveform at 500 times per second
  • Isolates the individual central aortic pulses that give rise to the observed pulse shape
  • Reads central aortic measurements therefore eliminating the effects of hydrostatic pressure
  • Tracks vascular tone, central aortic pressure and advanced hemodynamics continuously

VitalStation

VitalStation centrally displays and aggregates data from VitalStream and other wireless monitoring devices to help drive clinician efficiency and reduce the cost of EHR integration.

  • Monitor and centrally display vital signs data for up to 24 patients
  • Automatically send discrete data to the EHR for up to 30 patients through a single connection
  • Display patient data in a way that best suits your team’s needs with fully customizable configurations
